Providers spend ~20% of their time writing notes, creating a significant administrative burden. At the same time, AI clinical documentation tools were becoming table stakes among competitors like Lyra and Modern Health. To continue attracting and retaining top providers, Spring Health needed its own AI note-taking solution.
Provider research revealed two key dynamics that would shape adoption.
Motivation: Providers want to spend less time on notes and more time on direct client care (or gain time back for themselves).
Barrier: Providers are often skeptical of AI clinical tools, with concerns about accuracy, privacy, and maintaining control over their notes.
Assisted Note-Taking helps providers reclaim time for client care while staying fully present and in control of their notes. Built with responsible AI, it delivers accurate and secure documentation within seconds after each session.
I named the feature Assisted Note-Taking to emphasize clinician control, reduce resistance among AI-hesitant providers, and encourage adoption.
To drive awareness and adoption, we launched Assisted Note-Taking across in-product and owned channels.
